A long trail that has a lot of wildlife activity (birds, beavers, deer). Great views of the upper Boyer Chute and Missouri. Called the grass loop trail for obvious reasons, involves both mixed grass prairie and riparian forest. While close to river at times, you are never so close as to be dangerous for children. Boyer chute #2 geocache is along this trail. The trail has a shortcut that cuts off about half of the distance if you get tired. The short cut is at about N41 27.900 W95 59.120. There is also a trail to Missouri River access at this point.The last half of the trail is without shade. B
